Electronic Dance Music Mastering Engineer.
Period.

I specialize in what I do best, working with electronic dance music. In this day in age, the sonic expectation thresholds are continually expanded, yet, the process remains traditional.

Relevance is INDESPENSIBLE

It takes an expert in EDM genres in the evolving sounds of today to become confident in delineating a committed craft.

I've had enough projects sent back to me from those who will claim "they can work with any genre."

In my humble opinion those who don't specialize, are not able to upkeep with the NEEDS of our scene's demands with its ever evolving sonic envelopes.

This is less of a question of what is the proper “mastering engineer shoes” approach, and additionally what does the song absolutely NEED to be sonically successful?

This is a very important aspect to consider when you decide to hire a mastering engineer.

CLASSIC FORMULA

CONTEMPORARY APPROACH

Nothing has changed over the decades in the way mastering in regards to the methodology.

What has changed, is the way we approach modern timbre.

What I've done here is integrate world class signal processing units with a reference class mastering room fully capable to obtain commercial level sonic integrity in the modern age of dance music.

"The ever changing future of music means thinking differently."

In the decades prior, a "mastering engineer" literally "cut" records, and prepared them for radio. There never was a DAW, limiter algorithms

weren't the question of the day, stream platform "loudness" hitches were never batted an eye.

In today's age, especially in recent years, the variable of how the perfect execution towards loudness within a mix, and the approach of mastering to me has seemingly become an art of final lacquering a loud mix with subtle flexibility, discernability, appropriation, and clear-cut operation.
